ABOUT US

We are Stacy and Jen… two of the founders of www.ParentsRPeople.com, a social networking site for parents and professionals to come together and network.  Professionals get to promote themselves and get new clients by offering advice, support, and content that really helps families!  Parents get to meet other parents, date, find a job, babysitters, and of course access a wide variety of professionals to support them in the many areas of their busy lives!

But enough about the website!  We are so proud and could go on and on forever about it because we both love that it is there to really help people!  However, you obviously clicked on this page because you wanted to learn more about us!  So here is the deal…

Jen is a mother (of two little ones), a wife, a full time recruiter, a best friend, a sister, daughter,  blogger and can sometimes be a pain in the ass!  She is fiesty, somewhat synical, and isn’t afraid to take the world by the balls and say “Here I am and this is what I have to say about it!”  Her motto is ..”If you don’t want to hear it, then don’t ask!”

Stacy is a single mother (of two little ones), a writer, psychotherapist, CEO, sister, daughter, best friend, and a big baby!  Stacy tries to see the best in everyone, sometimes to a fault.  She attempts to be the voice of reason, even when surrounded by pure insanity.  Stacy’s motto…”If you are worrying that you are crazy, then that’s a pretty good sign that you are normal!”

Stacy and Jen became friends when they were 13 years old.  They both grew up and lived in NY until Jen’s devastating move to Richmond, Virginia the summer before eleventh grade.  (Well devastating for Stacy, anyway)  Jen still resides in Virginia and Stacy still resides in NY and they are still best friends…even from afar!

And this is what Stacy and Jen have in common:  We are compassionate, loyal, love being mothers, outgoing, love to be silly, like to laugh, and have an amazing passion for helping others.  We are passionate about our company, parentsrpeople.com, because we believe in what it can do to help families everywhere!

We hope to use this blog to show two different points of view on what being a mom…and all of the other things that we are….. are all about!  We want you to laugh, cry, and relate to the real, down to earth issues we hope to address on this blog.

It’s very simple actually and there are 2 different options. Go to http://www.parentsrpeople.com On the homepage you will see an option for moms and dads on the left to create a profile and for professionals on the right. Go to the pro side and create a profile choosing nanny as your profession. Then when a parent goes on the babysitter/nanny page to search by zip code, your profile will come up and they can then contact you. So be sure to really put all of the wonderful things about you in your profile. You may also, if you would like, make a parent profile as a mom and go to the flex careers section and post that you are looking for a job as a nanny…. Then anyone looking in that section to hire a nanny will again find your profile. Hope that helps! Let me know if I can anser any anything else for you!
